Bio of the Founder

Introduction & Experience: Rajen is a business-builder with proven track record of content mastery, innovation and senior client engagement, to drive sustained personal and business transformations through sustained Mindset shifts and Capability Building (Software of Transformation) and Systems & Structures (Hardware of Transformation)

He has 23+ years of experience in advising clients including design and delivery of consulting solutions for Global & Asian Fortune 500, Multilaterals and Sovereign Governments in multi-cultural settings across S. Asia, S.E.Asia, East Asia, Africa, and in Europe and Middle East. Rajen’s experience as a market-facing intrapreneur and entrepreneur help bring practicality to his approach, and makes him a preferred partner for CEOs, Founders and Business professionals. 

Rajen’s career history includes being Korn Ferry's S.E.Asia, S.Asia and HK lead for Culture, Change & Communications practice, as well as APAC lead for ESG & Sustainability Solutions. He has been a McKinsey consultant; Founder and Global Head of Dalberg Consulting’s Global Talent & Leadership practice Singapore; Country Director University of Chicago’s Tata Centre for Development and International Innovation Corps, India. He was part of early founding team of Heidrick & Struggles Leadership Consulting APAC. He also founded a boutique consultancy, Leadership By Results. 

Rajen’s thought leadership includes being a TEDx speaker (~265,000 views); a published author with an extensive chapter “Leadership By Results” in the Global Handbook of Impact Investing: Smarter Capital Markets to Address Global Problems for Sustainable Society (Wiley, Jan 2021), contributor for several publications BusinessWorld, Huffington Post, India Development Review, and NextBillion; and an award nominated screenwriter including a movie on Netflix; He is also a core team member for design and delivery of Lead Like Gandhi’ for a 9-day immersive Purpose Discovery program. Rajen has delivered guest lectures and / or modules at INSEAD, National University of Singapore, Indian School of Business Hyderabad, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai.

Academic Background and Professional Certifications: Rajen earned his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) in 2000; Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Mumbai. He has completed certificate courses in sustainability from INSEAD Singapore and Rotterdam School of Management, University of Erasmus: Certifications include Hogan, WAVE, Phenemenological-Ontological Leadership Self-Awareness facilitation (Singapore), Positive Intelligence (Shirzad Chamine of Stanford), ICF approved CoachForLife (Peter Reding, Florida), PX2 for Youth by The Pacific Institute, Seattle. 

Awards and Interests: Rajen has also been an award-nominated screenwriter with 4 movies, including on Netflix & Amazon Prime, Sir Dorab Tata Merit Scholar, and winner of Wings of Excellence Award at the ISC, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. 

Dr. Shalini Sarin, has had a distinguished career donning multiple hats over three decades in the Corporate world with an experience ranging from Chief People Officer to leading a global Foundation to running a Sustainable business for social impact. She has worked across India, Europe and US. 

Her current and previously held positions include being Board Director, Investor and Mentor at Elektromobilitat  India Pvt Ltd,  which provides turnkey solutions to design, scope, engineer, source, install and setup, integrate, optimize, manage and operate complete EV Charging infrastructure. Her Independent Director roles include Linde India ltd., JV Automotive Axles (Bharat Forge & Cummins); Kirloskar Ferrous, Kirloskar Oil Engines ltd; ISMT; Supervisory Board of Nagarro Germany, Board of Trustees at Head Held High. She has also served as the Chairperson of  Signify Foundation. As a part of her NED role, she is currently on multiple ESG, NRC, RMC, CSR and Audit Committees. She has also served as Advisor to Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) Netherlands, and Advisor to Signify's Global Solar Business. She is on the academic advisory committee for Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon. Her last executive roles were as Global SVP HR for Phillips Lighting based out of The Netherlands and CHRO Greater India zone for Schneider Electric. 

Shalini passionately continues to coach and advise individuals, Corporates, Govt missions and Not for profits to create long term value through Intangibles such as Purpose, Culture, Governance and Leadership. 

Shalini acts as a mentor to Impactivate Solutions, including in its previous avatar as 'Leadership By Results'. She has also been a hands-on collaborator to serve on client engagements involving Organization Design and Governance for Private Equity - to create robust platforms for business and talent growth; and create assurance for LPs.

Sujata Deshmukh is an accomplished OD consultant with 25+ years of experience. She is the founder of Tutul Consulting, a boutique OD consulting firm with more than 50 happy clients.

Sujata's expertise lies in culture transformation, articulating vision & values, HR transformation, & enhancing top team effectiveness. She has designed bespoke leadership development journeys, assessed & coached leaders at the APAC & Global level. 

She has served as an Independent Director on the board of a public limited company for two years & was also part of the National Executive Board of the National HRD Network. She has associated with several academic institutions for lectures & panel discussions and is a speaker/curator at several seminars and a TedX speaker. 

Impactivate Solutions leverages the 22 years of relationship between its Founder and Sujata; which includes having been colleagues across firms like Eicher Consulting Services (ECS Limited) and Heidrick & Struggles Leadership Advisory, Asia Pacific 

Sonali has worked in the HR both in-house with L’Oreal India and with firms like Heidrick & Struggles, ABC Consulting and with fast paced start-ups such as IndianTelevision.com. She brings a ‘get-it-done’ mindset to life and work. 

Sonali serves as Director of Operations for Impactivate Solutions. She builds upon her experience of having been a bouncing board to many senior leaders during her recruitment career; and in her work with IMS & Career Launcher to prepare MBA aspirants for interviews and careers. She holds an MBA from IMI Delhi (2002), M.Com (2000) and B.Com (1998), Mumbai University.
