The objective was to identify and define broad types of financial support ideal for USAID to catalyze private capital inflows into conservation financing. The USAID team prioritized engagement opportunities from the long list presented by us, with particular interest in green bonds, ESG compliance for bank portfolios and accelerator and incubator funds. This final report includes “strawman” outlines on each of these three prioritized engagements, and a detailed list of potential private and public partners for funding or execution of each engagement.
